Marco Ruzene

Ph.D. in Tax Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and Master in Law of International Economic Relations from the same institution.


Graduated in Legal Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas in 1992, Ruzene began practising law in March 1993, advising various companies in the services, industry and commerce sectors.


In 2013, partner Marco Antônio Ruzene was recognized by Latin Lawyer Magazine among the 250 best tax lawyers in Latin America, which came as a result of the excellence of the work he performs.


Significant experience in other important segments of the business field, such as M&A, Debt restructuring, Judicial recovery, and Bankruptcies, has built a solid multidisciplinary legal background capable of adding important and significant value to any job for which his services may be necessary.


Ruzene also boasts extensive academic experience, serving as a coordinator of undergraduate courses and a professor in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Constitutional Law, Tax Law, Economic Law, Political Science, and Legal Hermeneutics since 1997.


He also served for 10 years on the XVII Class of the Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo Section, presiding over the 3rd Section until August 2017.
